Go for it Freeloader. you'll be OK with them. They are great sellers with encrypted sales sites.

What you need to worry about is if there is any spyware in your computer that might be tracking credit card numbers. If your computer is clean, you're good to go. Or call them and do it over the phone, and get the sales person's name if you are cautious. Couldn't hurt.

I have dealt with both Good Stuff to Go and Echo Base, with CC and had no problems. As mentioned above, as long as the transaction is secure (small padlock in browser), safer that a physical store. Never let you CC out of your sight, not even for a second, if possible don't let others handle your CC and recommend regularly check your statements.

I'm hesistant to give my credit card details to GSTG. Gail put a $400 + charge on my card after I enquired the shipping costs to Australia about a bunch of figures. She thought that this was an order when it was an enquiry ! She had sent the package without my knowledge until this damn big package arrived outside my office !!!!

I've since cancelled that credit card ! I was lucky enough to off load the figures to some colleagues. I haven't bought anything from them since.

Another thing to look out for aswell as the padlock in the browser, is instead of the normal http:, if the site is truley secure it will have an s after the http. So it would look like this: https:

Some bad websites can fool your browser into displaying the padlock but there is no way to get round the https: without the site being secure.

Hope this helps
