So, I have been working on a kitbash figure for a while now and needed a male body. And I figured that if I am going to do this, I better do it right and get a seamless body. But as I have discovered, seamless male bodies have um.....how should I put it? Phallic parts. Erect phallic parts. One that is a 1/6th scale 12 incher. So I ask the question, is it just me but are these types of features really necessary on a figure? I get that making them close to real life but I don't think that people are making porno dioramas, then again maybe people are. I want to hear your guys' thoughts on this subject.

If your figure is going to be dressed / outfitted, then WHY a 1:6 seamless body?

Is your figure going to be "buff" with minimal clothing? If yes, then fine. A seamless body is probably the way to go, but then some still prefer to use a jointed body.

As for the "phallic" component, consider it as a bonus. No more. No less. Just like some female seamless bodies having "details" and some not. It's about preference and purpose.

Leave it at and no need to make it more complicated . . . unless you want it complicated.

Then again . . . you do know they made a "trangender" female seamless body figure? The Sarina Valentina figure. Her body is seamless with a nice rack and she came with an affixed small component down there.

Yeah.

Oh I will more than likely still buy it, this is just something that has been on my mind for a while and was curious to know if anyone else felt this way about it.

The erection doesn’t make sense to me either, but I can almost understand the flaccid one. If you put pants on (with the flaccid attachment), it actually makes the pants sit “correctly”, instead of looking like a ball-less Ken doll. Though the same can be accomplished with some extra padding shoved in there instead.

Lol the extra appendages are funny to military guys but I imagine there are people who do really porno shoots. I've seen a few on forums here and there, they make their way into non porno forums and Facebook groups but are usually laughed at and deleted. I'd imagine there are forums dedicated to the sub niche. Also I've seen full blown s&m set ups for sale on eBay.

Yeah, came across a bunch of guys doing all sorts of s and m stuff with racks, and whips etc. Some of the female dolls can be penetrated!! Really wierd if you ask me, but obviously some people love it.

Do a Bobbitectomy, and carry on with the figure? Maybe a tuck?

It is a strange issue to have to deal with though. If you're not using the feature, you can remove/modify said feature, and carry on with your build.

Some of the posts above seem to think that you'd have to remove or modify something if you didn't want to use the bits -- that's not the way it works. Apart from something fairly anomalous (namely the Sarina Valentina figure that DFC mentioned) the bits are separate in the TBL package. You don't even have to ever see them if you don't want to -- they're all wrapped up. So it's totally as DFC says, "consider it as a bonus. No more. No less." They're even less intrusive than the "female details" on some figures, because they're not there at all unless you specifically add them. And I doubt they add any significant cost to the body.

As for the mindset why they exist, (1) yes, some people do sex-based photoshoots or displays (not that there's anything wrong with that) and (2) others want to do something idealized, like a renaissance or other painting. But IMHO there's a very specific reason (3) for the bits, that people may have forgotten. At the time that TBL started making the bodies with the bits, about 6 years ago, the STARZ show Spartacus was very prominent, and it popularized the image of Gladiators training in the nude. I think Spartacus was actually the most direct influence on these 1/6 add-ons.

WE just toss them in the garbage. No need for them at all, and the stupid extra giant ones that come with the jiaoudoll bodies are just....wtf?

We interrupt the "sausage fest" discussion with this post / moment of wanted distraction.

Thank you.

I find the “flaccid“ ones actually useful for dressing the figures as it adds the necessary “bulge” to make pants look right. It may seem stupid, but I despise the typical Ken Doll look of a neutered figure.
