That is absolutely fascinating stuff. I had seen it before and it is truly amazing what they can do. Now we need to see the applications.

So....none of you have figured out that Predator is based on fact?

In '99, another team got one "intact". It's taken over a decade to reverse-engineer it.

That's impressive, a bit more sophisticated take on the British military vehicle that carried banks of bright floods. It would disappear on a suitable skyline (limited, of course).

I was reading there were other ways to make 'cloaking' type devices. The only problem was, if you were inside you couldn't see out.

Fiber optics, the FBI had a working prototype equipped on one of their observation/communication/assault vehicles in the early 90's during the Waco standoff/massacre.

This guy was on the local news here in Canada last week.

He also said he made some kind of camo for hunters. He said moose or elk (don't remember exactly what kind of animal). He said they can't pic up some kind of specific color, so he made camo uniforms out of those color patterns which then make the hunter invisible to the animal in plain sight. pretty cool.
