Depending on where they were, they might have worn the blue dungarees, or regular OD uniforms/coveralls. Boondocker boots (with or without leggings), maybe webgear and a helmet and weapon - depending on the situation. Headgear could be a "dixiecup", OD cap, sun helmet, ballcap, and the aforementioned helmet.
:smoking This might be helpful:http://22.214.171.124/search?q=cach...iforms+ww2&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us.Something to bear in mind, seabee uniforms would be determined by where and what they were doing.Rear areas probably meant standard navy dungarees, forward areas meant usmc uniforms in the pacific and army field uniforms in europe/med.Weapons and web gear, esp in pacific might be retreads from ww1 especially early in their development.I have also seen photos mixing uniforms.dungarees under coveralls or HBTS for example.
