Hi 1:6 fans
I have just started my terminator 2 1:6 custom figure its is my first kitbash but i thought i would have a go so here are some pics of the head sculpt i have built a red LED in to the head so the eye will light up much like it dose in the film. Let me know what you think and i will post more as and when.

The scult is one of my own as i spent six years studying art and i did a bit of model making but i have not done anything since i left there years ago now.

Hmm that does start the wheels turning. Where did you get an LED that small if I may ask? Nice work on the sculpt also. I thought it was Chris Howe's sculpt for a min.

Its a red 5mm LED from maplin but i have drilled a hole inside the head that leads up to the back of the eye so the led sits right behind the eye port hope this helps

I have just got my truetype 38 figure this morning for my T2 kitbash and i had i bit of free time so i thought i would fit the headsculpt and start to hide the wires that power the LED

I always wanted to see an Arnold headsculpt on a true type body, just to see if it looked right. I have the Sideshow T2 arnie and really want to make it look more realistic and using a true type body for him was one of the ways I thought might work. Will you use the Saturday Toys biker gear for your figure?
Excellent effort so far, I look forward to seeing more.

I could see you getting quite a few requests for that Arnie sculpt, it's one of the best I've seen. I can't wait to see him when he's finished.

PS (It might be tricky, but, you might want to paint the inside of the head black to stop light bleeding through the finished paintjob, I noticed it does already.)

yeah i have already bought the saturday toys bike fashion set just waiting for it to arrive and i also bought a M79 grenade launcher but the barrel did not open so i have made some adjustments to it. Thanks for the heads up rogerbee i will paint the inside of the head black to stop light bleeding through.

I already bought the Zacca M79, but it seems a little out of scale, maybe too big. But it does open and a shell can be put in it. Not sure whether to buy the Saturday Toys biker set or try to adjust the gear the Sideshow T2 came with. Arnold is 6'2" so I am still trying to figure out what the best body would be. I know the Hot Toys body works as we already have the battle damaged T800 so the jacket from that set might work nicely for a T2 T800 bash.
