This project requires many fit and cut procedures. It takes a lot of measuring and checking for fit and most of all.....patience.

Let's begin. Nurse! Scalpel!!!
We'll start with the front end:










A channel must be cut/filed/ notched for the sterring bar that connects the front wheels.PATIENCE!









To make up the difference, a 1/2 inch spacer will be needed to keep the axle in place.




NOW FOR THE REAR WHEELS:





OK!! Don't know if you can notice, but the height difference makes the Humvee look way bigger!!!

This will be my summer project, the humvee collected enough dust.

I picked one up on Craigslist for 40.00 new in the box. It was Hasbro brand and holds 14 figures. My 21st Century Toys Hummer is smaller and not as sturdy as the Gi-Joe Hummer which is built like a tank.

maybe i too can find one for cheap. but all i need is determination, ih and nice job on the lift like the fact that it is hardly noticeable.
