A bit of a stupid question...
I have successfully "warmed" the heads of HT figures (using my ubiquitous hairdryer) and removed them. Be aware, the sculpt itself can separate from the neck adapter, but the neck adapter can ALSO be removed from the torso. I have found that a gentle but constant pressure will usually pull the head and adapter away as one unit if I do NOT heat the head first. If you intend to put a DML or similar sculpt on in the original's place, you want to leave the adapter on.
TTBOMK, you can not replace the hands with those of another company's. The HT "wrist" joint is proprietary and no other company, AFAIK, has produced a KO or adapted it to their figures. You MIGHT be able to put another company's "hand" only onto the lower half of the HT wrist post, but i have not tried, nor have i seen any that look like they might work -- I was thinking Twisting Toys (?), as didn't they release a carded set of hands? But i think the lower half of their wrist joint is different and won't adapt. I defer at this point to someone (anyone) who has tried and had any luck as, to be frank, I wouldn't mind being able to put some "hands" on in place of the "gloves" i have on a couple HT figures --- "gloves" were not yet invented in 56 BC!!!!! :lol

.......the only stoopid question is the one never asked. :thumb
