Hey folks,
Finished fixing up my JL Wonder Woman, the head on mine looked particularly horrendous :urp
Picked up a loose Training Armour sculpt, did a bit of sculpting, hair rooting and a slight repaint.
I think she looks much better, if only this is what HT would have given us in the first place.....

Great work. I've been planning to do the same hair rooting job but haven't summoned the courage yet. Could you describe the process you used?
Sure, basically remove the plastic hair from the training sculpt by carefully whittling it off with an exacto. Paint the scalp dark brown, and then you're ready for applying the hair.
I use tibetan lambswool, mohair works well too. I have tried many different types of glues, most people use something called fabritac or fabric glue.
There is a great tutorial by Morezmore Estates? They dosculpture work and sell tools and supplies etc. on ebay. I think that's the right name. It was very helpful to me when I first started hair work.

The training armor sculpt is great, but I found that when I started sculpting the tiara on, the forehead was too low. I added a bit to the sculpt to make it seem more proportionate (in my eyes, anyway)

Oh, I meant side by side...
There was quite a long and heated argument over at the Sideshow Freaks forums on whether the JL and TA sculpts were the same. Your work seems to indicate that they are indeed different sculpts...
Oh! Sorry, didn't realize you meant side by side. I have a WIP pic I took if this'll do?

They are definitely not the same sculpt, or else I wouldn't have been crazy and gone to these lengths customizing it
when I could have done a simple repaint :lol

Someone on One Sixth Society on fb took some comparison pics, all the same lighting and forward pose, of all 3 Wonder Woman sculpts. They prove without a doubt that they are all very different from one another., which will probably help avert alot of arguments in the future :D haha
