I was considering picking one of these up. Does anyone own one? Worth the money? What are your guys thoughts and opinions?

I know its not military-related so it probably won't interest a majority of the board.

I saw the MWC review I was just wondering if anyone else had anything to add about it.

I don't have one, but have seen one in-hand. It is an awesome figure, and so is the Brando for that matter. If I had unlimited funds I'd pick one of each up. All of the stuff is really great looking, and quality looks to be typical HT, so you can't lose there.

Is it worth the price tag of about $100-ish? That's for you to decide, but for me it's a bit much for what you get in the set. I figure if it was about $20 less it would be right on the mark.

I would actually look on eBay for the Mattel one, for the money you'd pay for the HT one you could get someone to repaint the Mattel sculpt for you. For me it is the best Dean sculpt ever and the figure is from Rebel Without a Cause.

Both the Hot toy James Dean and Marlon Brando are Classic's. I hope to add both to my collection some day soon. Then all we'd need is a Hot Toy Steve Mc Queen from the Movie Bullet.. Get it.. Get it now....

I think it's a definite buy! It's classic look and style definitely stands out among all my figures. Get Brando while your at it too...

If I may say so, it was worth saving my money for. I was so happy when I had the spare money and bought it.

The body is using the "stiff neck" HT model, the cowboy boots are molded and connected with that ball joint thingy. the HS is decent. Though not up to Zuno's awesome adaptation, its still a decent HS. with some work it would be awesome. especially when you make it into "rebel without a cause" version. sorry, James Dean fan yapping

I definately love the box. It has a denim look plus an actual metal triangle that you would find on jeans with a HT logo.

Thaks for the input guys, I also really like Zuno's version (shame they don't sell that) I may pick this up if I can find a deal on it
