Hello folks,

I'm just wondering if I am missing something on how to attach the lens covers on the NVG unit in the pic? When I put them on they just fall off.

I would use Elmer's white glue to secure those lenses. The glue dries clear and you
can always remove the lenses without harming the pieces. I use Elmer's glue to keep the
plastic canopies of my model airplanes "shut" and does a good job as well.

AV8TORJoe, General Sam thanks for the info. Just wanted to be sure before I glue them on. I'll use Testors Clear Parts Cement to put them on. :wink

No. This stuff is like runny white caulk that dries clear. Items glued can be removed, but it does leave a bit of it behind that you can brush off or use tape to remove it.

I'd use tack for those (blue, white, grey). It's barely visible anyway and won't leave any residue.

I used to use Humbrol Maskol to temporarily attaching things. A small dab of it would hold the caps on and easy to remove later. Another product would Liquid Thread it's basically the same thing as Maskol just in clear format. Can be found in the sewing section in stores
