Oh, God, Hot Toys... now I have to sell the OTHER kidney!
Oh, God, Hot Toys... now I have to sell the OTHER kidney!
I'm just the opposite, now that Hot Toys only does Star Wars and super heroes, with the rarel Predator/Alien/Terminator, and since I have at least 1-4 representations of each character I care about, the original more comic book looks and A New Hope, there is nothing I have to worry about wanting to buy at this point. Unless they decide to redo some humans from the P/A/T series (Fully prepared to throw money at a Michael Biehn from either series). I hate that Valerian flopped so bad, a new license was at least new and since they made prototypes they'll never release it will make them even less interested in venturing outside their stable of cash cows.
Yeah... I was considering the sideshow mythos Ben Kenobi but this is way better. Might get some loose items to get the hermit look but that's it.
Honestly? I gave up trying to buy everything Star Wars related a long time ago, but this is still a must-buy for me; it looks like there might be a Dooku coming soon too (based on that one picture), which I'd also be interested in.
I will not even try and collect 1/6 Star Wars character or any scale of Star Wars character. The last Movie may have killed my interest in Star Wars. That being said I do want this and the Anakin Skywalker and if they do Qui Gon Jin and Darth Maul then I would be done.
