In fairness I can see where someone could be a longtime reader/lurker without posting, and then -- if he was watching prices on the HT Black Panther, maybe heading towards buying one, and suddenly saw the prices skyrocket, and didn't happen to know why -- that is exactly the kind of unusual situation that could trigger a lurker's first post question to the forum. Kind of sad if he was a genuine Chadwick Boseman fan and only happened to get the sad news through this thread. I do think that hoodonit00 and Stryker2011 are right about their theory, just maybe not re madpiper specifically.

I think normal people will only post something if there is genuinely something to say or share. That's besides others with agendas.

Personally, I'm quite sick of rude behaviours (subtle or not) I have experienced in this forum in the process of trying to help and/or share info with collectors, and others. Not that I am free from it either in venting some of my frustrations with this regard. But there has been a certain level of hostility in this forum over the years which has lead me to leave this forum alone more and more, and be very selective with posts. This place has always had a certain unwelcoming taint.

yes i am a long time lurker and i was looking to purchase a black panther action figure and acted too late with the actors passing the price skyrocketed and was completely sold out on the sideshow website. as they say snooze you lose. i have been a long time fan of the 1/6 action figure got my first one as a present in 1964 and constantly amazed at the detail and topic matter that comes to market.
