Interesting subject and nice work on the staff.

Yet, and I know it will sound pedantic, I must write a few comments.
The Cameronians being a Rifle regiment did not have a "Drum-Major", but a Bugle Major (and, being Scottish, a Pipe Major), and he should have the badge of his appointment over the WO rank badge.
By VE Day, the 52nd Division was in Hambourg. Though they might have sent a detachment in Berlin, as far as I recall, the units representing the British Army in the Berlin Victory Parade were drawn from the 7th Armoured Division.

thanks for the information, but to me it appears that the Cameronians have had the major drum as best seen in the attached photos

to be complete, on page 62 of the Osprey book n. 56 ELITE FORCES, reported the photo speaks of three Scottish divisions (15th, 51th, & 52th) at the Berlin stadium
