Thank you in advance for any help with this issue! :)

I'm looking to find the most accurate combat or jump boots for a US soldier from the 80's. What kind and who makes them in 1/6th is the question? Looking for leather type not hard plastic. Pics would be great.

Any help with this is greatly appreciated. :jump4joy

Thank you!

I think the closest you could come if you wanted to use cloth boots would be Dragon's cloth Danner boots.

They came out a long while ago, but you can still find them from time to time. (I see people with them mostly at convnetions-- and sometimes at the EBT BBQ!) I don't know if any e-stores carry them anymore, though. Might have to hit e-bay.

Just check out the major 1/6 plastic crack dealers. Look for the:

New Line Miniatures Jump Boots ( would just have to paint them Black )
the ACE Green Jungle Boots
the Toy Soldier Black Jungle Boots

and if you can find them , the tanker boots that came from the Hot Toys "CVC" figure
