Hey guys, just a quick one.

Is anyone able to identify the horse seen below? I acquired it along with a saddle set but don't know the brand. It is a hollow, two-piece horse with a mould line running directly through the centre of the body, and bears an 'S' in a circle stamped on the leg.

Any help appreciated in identifying the make and value is appreciated, thanks!

pretty sure that's a Marx horse. probably circa late 1960s early 70s

they're fairly common and not too pricey. i still have mine from when i was a youngun.

they have a great shape tho and i've seen many incredible customs, where people have sculpted muscles and sinew on them w/ resin, added hair and flocking ect
yours looks like it's in great shape and w/ the tack. i'm guessing that's not it's box since the box would have brand info
oh these were being repro'd quite a bit a few years ago so the repro would be worth less. that looks to be in great shape, so may be a repop

Thank you so much for the information, that's great stuff. I wanted to sell it on as I have no use for it after shelving a project that I acquired it for. Is there any way to differentiate an original from a repro? I wouldn't want to pass it off as original when it isn't.

Thanks again.
