Hello All,

This is my first post, but hopefully not my last...

First, let me say this site is amazing! A real trove of useful information, tidbits and wonderful modeling examples. You all are really into it and that's just awesome. It's a privilege being a part of this community.

Now, about my dilemma. I recently purchased a Blitzway Tony "Tiny" Montana and the figure looks BOSS. Totally on point and really, really close to the production prototype stills. Great. Here's the problem though - the chair. It looks pretty much spot-on (a few minor scale quibbles aside, it's top-notch), BUT one of the armrests is warped/bent beyond good taste.

The chair materials, according to Blitzway's site, are ABS+PVC. The armrests each connect at two points to the rest of chair. I believe the armrests can actually be disassembled from the chair, but I am not 100% sure of that.

HOW DO I BEND THIS BACK INTO SHAPE? A blowdryer? But will that mar the paint job? I am really at a loss and don't want to commit to something that could be utterly disastrous.

I have received this so far from the company in question, Blitzway...

I sent them a picture and am awaiting there response. Best case scenario they send me a new chair, but I suspect that this will fall under the category of "slightly bent" by Blitzway. I hope not!

UPDATE: I contacted BLITZWAY and they are nice enough to send me a replacement chair free of charge -or- at the very most a nominal fee for a cross-ship.

I don't work for BLITZWAY in any way, shape or form, but they were incredibly punctual and helpful. Customer Service Grade: A. Also, just an FYI, not sure what body-type they use, but the joints actually seem to click and lock. This style of body feels very sturdy to me, but i'm sort of new to the hobby.

does anybody know the style of body in question? i'm not sure how proprietary these armatures are.
