I am going to bump this up because it's enough of a concern to get my children's school principle and IT techs all worked up.

It appears to be more than one individual all using the same tactic of pressuring folks and children into giving up bank details, and computer info. They are hitting forum sites, and other locations and use pressure tactics to get you to download info, basically inviting them into your computer and allowing them access to your private info and systems.

If you encounter it, shut down your site connection right away, and unplug your modem. Don't hesitate, because they use the time to get in even if you are stalling. Most people appear to just let them in after they have been pressured into giving up access.
