I agree, he looks great out amidst the greenery. It's too bad Suzuki was so limited, compared to DiD's other Japanese soldiers.

Just a little nitpick: did you mean Okinawa, instead of Saipan?
The only airborne troops in Saipan were the IJN 1st Yokusuka SNLF who fought as conventional naval infantry.

Yes, Okinawa, it is, thank you for the correction. Looks like I will have to airlift him to Okinawa from Saipan... and he says he is quite happy with his present owner; thank you for the offer though.

Thanks guys.. I particularly like his spectacles; he is quite tall (around 6 feet) The average height of a Japanese soldier
in WWII was maybe around 5'4"
