I just caught this preview Full Battle Rattle for documentary on our troops training for Iraq. I see some potential for bashes.
Looks interesting and please no political commentary or tirades.

Fond memories

NTC, ah I have many fond memories of Fort Irwin......the Dustbowl, the Box, all the wadies we had to patrol through that OPFOR would use to conceal their incursions behind our 'lines', stopping full tank battles for hours when a Desert Sand Turtle (can't spell tortouse or whatever sp?) was spotted, and shaking of heads when we were 'killed' by an OPFOR team from 1,000m away (man did I hate MILES gear).
