The wrist pin end is the same as a Hot Toys True Type female so it will accommodate a HT female hand very easily. The feet have a double ball in them which is the same as we see on the male hot toys bodies. So you will be able to use the double ball for sculpted boots and footwear if you bash from a hot toys female or you can remove the entire double ball part and use the FGC bootfeet for those of us who have plenty of Cy Girl, ZC, PHICEN, Triad Toys and any other footwear that has a ball and stem part.

I'm sorry Chad, I know this was the "body"of choice for FGC and your vision but I am disappointed. I was really hoping for a "new" female body, something revolutionary.

she looks just like all the others out there, Especially the Playtoy body. And without the swivel at the hip, there are poses she just won't be able to do... ..and by the looks of things these bodies can not sit down and cross their legs ....

I know some prefer ascetics to articulation but I thought by now someone could make a fully articulated elbow/arm and still look good? (can you say Cy Girl, Triad etc)...

I have to ask though, is the torso all hard plastic or is it rubber like Playtoy? If hard plastic, then it will be much better for the bashes I like to do...not a fan of the rubber.

Hopefully once in hand I will feel better about them, right now though, they look too similar to playtoy and Kumik to get me excited.

Andrew...all great points and hopefully I can shed some light and answer some of those questions.

SITTING DOWN: I assure you she can sit fully in a chair. Her legs can cross in a "male" position and not your full "female" stance...does that make sense?

ELBOW: You can see the range of motion on the elbow and the elbow does rotate 360 degrees at that joint with out the extra seamline at the upper bicep like most have been designed.

MATERIAL: SHE IS NOT RUBBER IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM...LOL NO SQUISHIES HERE!!!

I know the main goal was to try to offer a great looking body, clean looking but still maintaining a decent articulation level. Being I come from a kitbash and customization background, I wanted the body to have the ability to be bashed with other parts later. As some of you die hard bashers get this new body..you will find like I have fun doing simple and easy mods with the basic tricks of the trade.
I also wanted her to fit a majority of the clothing that is in the market now...hence the normal rear end and more of a slim build to avoid the wide shoulder look when dressed. We can save that for a "superheroine" shape for the future.
This is the starting point for them and with as many bodies that there are now...the biggest concern was appealing to everyone or the majority.....THAT IS A TOUGH TASK WORLDWIDE!!!

I think I covered the majority of the needs and expressed much of everyone's feedback in the past year. FGC has been great and they are very open to our opinions.

As time goes on with all new products, we will see upgrades and subtle changes...everyone does it....
I just think this is a great starting point for FGC. It is a great price point for the beginner customer into the hobby and a great body with a slight reminders of the "classic" bodies that most of us had when we got started.

yes very nice!!
very nice breast too. and very nice torso shape, nicest so far. and all hard plastic means we can blush and seal the body, add putty to change its shape etc, and the price is right for a basic headless body.

the fact that she has hard torso with no waist joint means she can't stand with one hip sticking out or bending forward more.

The knee is also best so far compared to Kumik and Play Toy, I think under thin pants this knee would look much better than both kumik and Playtoy

I wish her thigh is a little bit fuller

can we disassembled the joints? I think inner elbow cup can be modified a little to allow lower arm to bend more

which one would fit Phicen pale and tan heads?

Love the price and the articulation looks pretty good, too. Like crusader, I'd have preferred more articulation in the elbows and Takara/Triad-compatible wrist pegs rather than Hot Toys wrist pegs, but the major reason why is that nearly everyone else's hands were that style Since FGC is moving into the base body space, finding compatible hands will probably be easier.

I do love that they engineered HT and Takara-compatible ankles, while also desigining one that will look fairly good barefoot. And did I mention I love the price? That's close to TTL base body level, except hopefully with better QC than TTL managed on average.

The only other thing I'd want to see is skin tone comparisons with some other brand heads, but I think I might just do that once I get some of these in my hands .

I agree on the knees....as far as the thighs go, I know they wanted a more slim thigh so she has a better appearance in clothing. I am sure down the line they will offer a hero body if I have some input.
JOINTS: I do have the luxury of having this sample in my hands and what you can do is this....if you are good at mods and know a few tricks, the arms and the joint at the elbow bend can be separated and modded.
I will have some fun on this one.....

:agree But I wouldn't might not having to go through that work. I know a lot of the female bodies are made to cater to the male preference, but it's still a bit frustrating to see the lack of variety in female figure chest sizes. The female characters I do don't have boob jobs and most are height-weight-chest proportionate.

Other than that, the body looks pretty nice. I may pick one up at some point.

CHAD, thanks for the comments, and i know where you are coming from (previous conversations).

Chung - no disrespect but current trends being what they are, people will buy what ever hot toys is selling even if its cra...!...."you know what"... or any sort of HT copy to try and save money, again even if its .....

Don't get me wrong, I completely welcome any new body release, no matter male or female. And I will be buying a few of these. I was just hoping to be wowed by this.

I guess my disappointment comes from seeing what Bitchin is doing over on MWD with his bodies, and I was hoping that some of his design ideas and innovation, might rub off on this or others bodies.

and yes I understand it is suppose to be a 1.0...but would one not want to get a home run on the first try then just second or third base?

I just hope once in hand I will be impressed instead of .....:sadshake

Like the choice of skin tones, and the fact that it is hard plastic and reasonably priced. Not so keen on some of the joints and no waist movement. I will definitely buy one to experiment with though.

I like all hard plastic body, since I can do more to it, and more friendly price is nice too, since I hate to gamble a $40to70+ body under hobby knives and dremel bits.

however a soft torso in this shape is welcome too, especially if the upper chest soft sleeving came packed with 3 boob sizes (or with different shape enhanced & natural) we can switch around

only my wishful thinking but who knows some angels, demigod, or sithlord might listen up there:dancing
