My latest figure; US 'doughboy', Western Front, summer 1918. Mainly Did, BGT and TB parts, with some scratch built items like the bayonet scabbard.

Love it! The drape of the clothing is exceptional and I like the touch of the captured Luger.

Thanks a lot guys - appreciate the feedbck!! :thumb
Just the bayonet scabbard alone would be fantastic, you've brought this dough to life. The headsculpt looks to be a callow youth, who's had his illusions shattered in the trenches.

Thanks! Yes, I'm really satisfied with how the scabbard turned out, it was very simple to make but in the end it turned out great IMO! Yes, I imagine him being a young italian-american from Brooklyn.
Absolutely amazing!
Thanks!! :thumb
Excellant work, I have not one WW1 figure but i am seriously tempted by DIDs recent offering.
An undeniably important part of our History.

Thanks a lot! It's a great fig, most of the gear comes from DiD's Buck Jones. The rifle is from BGT and the Brodie comes from Tony Barton.

I have 7 WW1 figures in my collection as we speak; 3 Germans, 2 French, 1 Italian and 1 American. I'm currently working on another American(an african american from the "Hellfighters") and a British soldier. I' planning to do another Italian, an Austrian, an Ottoman, a Bulgarian etc. etc.
Thank you!!
Question. Is the DID cartridge belt too large? It looks like you had to pull it really tight for it to fit properly. Again, fantastic work!
