ebay question

I've been selling items on eBay for about a month now and haven't had any issues until today. one of my items was removed, the item was a old G3 rifle by Dragon. the email i got from ebay said that it violated its policy on replica firearms and gave a list of things you aren't allowed to do but none of them seem to apply to a small 1/6 scale rifle. i doubt it need a orange ended barrel and i'm pretty sure it cant be converted to fire actual bullets.

i was wondering if any of you that may buy and sell have ever encountered anything like this and if there is any negative repercussions.

What you described happened to some members within the OSW and 1:6 hobby retailers who sells 1:6 scale weapons (i.e. toys) on eBay due to how realistic some of them look where it appears they are 1:1 scale weapons.

Did your auction item clearly specify it is 1:6 scale and is not a 1:1 scale firearm, but a 1:6 scale miniature toy for use with say GI JOE figures, etc.?

You may want to check how some other auctions on eBay for loose 1:6 scale weapons are listed and adopt some best posting formats to avoid such issues.

Definitely do that.

I notice other sellers doing that when it comes to 1:6 scale loose items like weapons.
