We wanted to get this out as quick as possible and missed some stuff we wish we didn't. Our main thing was to show off the upper body but before we send the figure back we will try and get it all decked out and shoot some pictures.

Nice first look at the figure, especially good to see how the body worked out on it. Have you checked the rifle and accessories for compatibility against other brands yet?

Yeah we checked one of the Soldier Story and one of the DamToys rifles. The Vertical Foregrip LED Weapon Light and the EOTech Night Vision Device slide on real nice and smooth. The EOTech XPS Holographic Sight was a little tight but it was tight on the DiD Carbine as well.

Ah good news then if DID is scaling everything to be in scale with the other brands. Appreciate the info Craig.

like the head sculpt, gear looks great....the body makes it a hard pass, but a pass nonetheless...they could take a note from Dam with their new 2.0 body. It actually looks pretty good. if parted out I would love to have a lot of the parts, but I am sure by the time I look online they will all be gone...with work , school and studying by the time i remember to check all the good stuff is typically gone.....the New Storm Shadow by SideShow and the Hot Toys Snake Eyes is a prime example...still looking for those wrist guards for Snake Eyes loose.....

Great review for a great figure! It's the first modern figure from DID. Everything looks fantastic. Unfortunately the price point is all wrong. They'd have sold a great many more of this one if the price is in line with that of DT or SS. I was so looking forward to this figure and wanted to get one, but dropped the idea instantly when I found out the price. I suppose DID could have priced it a bit cheaper if they didn't use that muscle body. That's the one thing I can do without. I'd be perfectly happy with a standard body and a reasonable price tag.

Next time perhaps.......
