I was amazed by the details of the rifle made out of real wood and metal when I saw the pictures at the first time. I just can't resist and ordered one from ToySoldierBrigade. But as a owner of one 1:1 arisaka t38, I may be picky of the shape of some wood and metal parts. I reworked the buttstock with putty and sand-off some off-shape wood then repaint. The front sight is sanded to be more square and the bolt handle is sanded to be smaller. The original cleaning rod broke during rework, I have to do a new one. The area at front band has been redone to make it more accurate in shape. Here are pictures showing the result. Thank you for looking. Comments welcomed.

Looks like pics of the real deal, very nice detailling. I had "custodial possession" of a Type 99 for years, then turned it back over to another family member, who has repaired much of the "de-milling" my parents insisted on. They are stout weapons.
