Here's my version of one of my favorite book characters Longarm.
I got him done and while looking at book covers then decided he needed a damsel in distress. You can't go wrong with busty babes in leather.
Longarm is a BBI Rudi Kessling with a DID shirt, Yamato vest, DML boots, painted Marx hat. I made the rest.

I tried to get the look of a book cover with this one.

Not familiar with the character, but the results are impressive nonetheless. Very nicely done.

Looks like the lil lady's got a "handle" on things, there.

Johnnye4 that was probably the main reason I always read him in high school.
I was planning on posing them that way as long as soon as I make a base to keep everyone upright. He just looks to uptight with the shirt closed.
Rogerbee my wife said the same thing about him.
Leo I think I'll stick to guy clothes they are lots easier to make. The moccasins are pretty simple to do then I usually soak them on the foot in warm water and then shrink them to fit best as I can.
Thanks everyone.

Nice job Jimmy. One of my favorite characters also LOL.I think you actually found a headsculpt that works for Custis with the addition of the mustache. The only thing I noticed was he has on a regular sidearm holster and Longarm used a cross-draw.One of these days I'll get around to making him as well but I really like your version you did a great job.Kudos bro.

I had thought of you when I was posting him.
I had a crossdraw on him but liked the regular one better. He's sort of a blend of the cover art and written material. I was making him a derringer on a watch chain but couldn't figure out where to place it.

LMAO I was wondering if you'd remembered about my comment in that post you had made.I need to find a crossdraw rig for when I do mine and I guess that headsculpt as well.I've got the stovepipe cavalry boots and I'm sure I can find something that would resemble his brown tweed attire as you did,as a matter of fact I think I have that same vest hehehe. It needs pockets for his hideout derringer, can't wait to see what you come up with.I was in Wal-Mart the other night and noticed the series is still going strong.

Thanks,

Now Lonnie's done The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, I'm hoping he'll do The Magnificent Seven. I'd love a Yul Brynner as he could double as the gunslinger from Westworld.

CHEERS!

thanks for the memories.. i used to read these books too, they were essentially soft porn in my little home town. When i saw the pose with the woman there, i thought: Yup, you got it about right... for an all age board.

Yep they're still printing those porno westerns...

Great Job there!, the watch would have gone into the jeans pocket and the derringer into the vest pocket.

Sorta Fabio out west kinda covers? I missed out on these, but the figure's kitted out nicely. She, on the other hand reminds me of the movie Dirty Dingus Magee...."We make Bim Bam, Ding-gooose???"
