Custom painted and modified 1990 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Bike for Sideshow/Hot Toys/Movie Masterpiece 1/6 scale T-800 action figure.

Unlike other pieces in my little collection, the T-800 figure has remained on display ever since I acquired it years ago. So I always wondered about providing it with the Harley-Davidson Fat Boy bike from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Perhaps surprisingly, this particular vehicle does not seem to have been produced despite the great popularity of 1/6 scale figures related to the Terminator franchise.

The customized bike started out as a 1999 Harley-Davidson in red and grey for a Barbie (a popular alternative would have been modifying a Tamiya Harley-Davidson Fat Boy). After detailed comparison to frames from the film and the efforts of other customizers, I repainted the bike with acrylic paint (most of it black, except for adding a couple of details in chrome), removed the orange turn lights at the front and back, re-created the license plate number and appearance from the film and constructed leather saddlebags. My skills are limited due to the scale and my lack of patience, but the experiment seems to have been fairly successful in recreating a movie-accurate vehicle.

A set of photos of the modified bike with the action figure on it can be seen here:
