Hi!:)

I'm Kata and my English is not perfect, but I hope you will understand me well:)
I'm customizing dolls for a while and I bought my first 1/6 female some weeks ago. She is the HB001 from Play Toy. I was so excited and I knew I will customize her too.

I like the natural looks on dolls, so at this time I also wanted to create a natural look .
First, I changed her factory hair to a longer one. It was really hard to take off her "wig"! The rerooting is also was hard. My other customized dolls has softer head, but this female wig/scalp was made of a harder material. At the reroot I used synthetic hair.

Here is she after the reroot:

After the reroot I decided I will repaint her face. Her face is smaller to my other customized dolls, so first I just wanted to add some eyeshadow in plus. ...aaand I wanted to soften her eyebrows a bit. I used my watercolor pencils and pastel chalks, but the result was really-really bad! I used a rubber to erase my "work" and I started painting her face again. My second and my third try also was not good. I washed everything off with acetone and I was angry and sad :cry
I took a deep breath and I customized a brush to be as thin as possible. I started to paint her eyes with this thin brush. I used pastel chalks and water. The lines was thinner than the line of the watercolor pencil, so the result was better!:)

She has some errors, but her new look is fresh, sweet and more natural than the original:)
At the end I sealed the pastel with a spray sealant and I put glossy varnish to eyes & mouth.

I'm curious for your opinion and I'm gladly help if someone's need my experience.
