I was at Big lots the other day and saw a statue fig of Sammy Sosa and thought I would try something, here is part of the results, I might use the head and cleats as well. :thumb, and I finally finished a blaster pistol for a Kyle Katarn bash I have been working on forever, the blaster is made from various items throughout my area. Let me know what you think.

Good idea on the gloves. Really good.

I don't know who the character is, but the pistol looks very believable to me.

Always like to see people's build results.

How much was the sculpture? Did you have any photos of the original merchandise? I don't think I've ever seen any 1/6 scale-ish sculptures at Big Lots.

It was in the clearance eisle for 5 bucks, thought if nothing it wouldn't be a total waste, got a decent baseball bat too. I have seen them in other stores around the area but not as low. No pics of the package and the remainder of the figure has disappeared as I have a 5 yr old who loves to "play GI Joes" with me.
