I managed to get hold of an old Johnny West Wagon, well most of one anyway.
Here's the result:

I am so impressed. I have one of those Johnny West (Marx) wagons and have wanted to customize it but I haven't been able to get past the orange wheels. That is a superb job you have done, sir.

I think I'll have a go at it now - Thanks!

Really nice Nigel. Man I love the harness set up. That is what I need to finish my chuck wagon. Your work just keeps getting better and better. It's very inspiring.

Cheers,
Tim

The harness was done for me by Donna Davos, I met her on eBay (DONNA).
I'm starting to do my own leather work now though - starting with some gun belts.

I really enjoy this series of yours. They're well crafted 'slice of life' vignettes and work so well to tell a story.

Love the stucco wall you made as well, until the BTS I thought we were witnessing the birth of a town :p

That is les balles de chien!

Outstanding work Nigel, and the archway looks perfect. A lot of the photos can easily pass for 1:1.

I can see these two as mule skinners or buffalo hunters. Did you make the bull-whip?

That's a real transformation, next to a caisson, probably the hardest ride in those days.

You should consider changing your forum handle to Wagonmaster, as that is what you're fast becoming.
