BARBIE COMPLETE LOOK FASHION PACK #2 *NEW* | eBay For your knowledge, Mattel has released outfit line called "The Complete Look." There's lots of choices. They are advertised as being "able to fit any sized female body type" in the world of 1/6 scale female figures. And they do!!!!!! See my Phicen Black Widow below. These are made from a stretchy material that works perfectly for your Phicen. These are easier to put on the Phicen than it is to dress it with one of those Superduck Cheongsam (?) outfits and they fit tight which shows off the seamless body. The outfits don't bleed color on the figure. View the eBay link to see offerings. But Complete Look outfits are at Wal-Mart, Target, TRU for $2-$5 dollars! I got 5 outfits today for $17! So, definitely worth checking out because of the fit and the price.

WELL . . .

It's time to visit the pink aisle again to see the spread and dive in steady with firm hard cash and come off with a worthy climax of cheap stretchy outfits without blowing too much of a load (money).

I know everybody hates any comparisons between our Phicen action figures and dolls. But when I saw the post and pics here on site about the Wal-MaRT/DC Comics WW figure and the custom WW Phicen figures made with those outfits, I went to see for myself and found the Mattel options. You save A LOT of money with these if you can get past the "barbie stigma." And while they are cheap, they're also made with very good quality materials.

Ok, so I'm dedicating my weekend to PROTESTING (in lol manner and for folks who care about this) THE HIGH PRICES OF 1/6 SCALE FEMALE FIGURE CLOTHING!!!!!!! While I sincerely love some of the offerings from Superduck, Pop Toys, Very Cool, Vimi et et et, one (1) dress for example can cost $40+. I bought the "Red Leather" Pop Toys dress made for Phicen. And the zipper broke while putting it on/taking it off. That was a $30/$40 purchase (not including shipping). I bought the White Superduck "Cheongsam" dress (with the gold jewels) for around the same price. I chose the white so it wouldn't stain my figure. Ironically, my figure stained the dress! So again, the outfits in pics I'm posting this weekend (of my Phicen Black Widow) are in local stores right now! They fit perfectly. They dont hurt your figure via stains or wear 'n tear when placing or removing. And they look really cool!

Some Mattel items can be useful for female action figures. Many of us have found tops and dresses made of stretchy material will fit with varying results. I've also used jeans designed for Ken dolls to work well for some female action figures as well.

It's a wise move to thoroughly rinse fashion doll items before putting them on a soft skinned figure. Friends on fashion doll forums have told me of staining even on high end plastic dolls. "Your results will vary, and your mileage may be less".

Yeah I know and I usually always do a rinse before dressing figures. But I got so many of these and have been changing them out quicky to show you guys what's available. So far,I haven't noticed any stains.

Comicsrcoll78, seems like you have found some pretty nice and relatively grown up/realistic versions of these outfits.
I went to Walmart and got a few too, but I think only one was the same as the ones you got. The prices are great, but the range of selection, at least here, very limited. And I know they are made for girls' dolls, but there is only so much pink a guy can take... Still, good find and thanks for sharing.

I know. I'm going to Big Lots tomorrow to check out DFC's "PTE" suggestions. I need to find some inexpensive clothing to fit my male Phicen figures. Some of my figures (the boxed figures/superheroes) never get customized. And some of my customs become characters that I dont change. But I have several Phicen (male and female) that are always ready for change. It keeps things fun for me.
