Define "Brown"--I'm thinking of possibly some DML WWII Brits who have the color of uniform you have in mind, but they're hardly modern BDUs. Eyepatch is a bit more iffy. If you have small swatches of black cloth you could probably make a decent one, I think.

OK, you got me!! I am hoping to get this done before I leave for NC in July. I sketched out my plan last night and It should be a quick bash, as nothing too major to do. (No pun intended!!)

 

I have not been able to locate a set of brown bdus. I tried to dye some sets, and the one success I had isn't really dark enough. Is there anyone out there who can make me a custom set of dark brown bdus or a brown shirt and pants? Thank you.

 

i have a brown, 1-piece flightsuit if that works still. just let me know and i'll try to find it and price it.

 

Is it a dark brown? I am doing a Major Bludd bash so the uniform needs to be a drak brown.

 

He wants a reddish-brown matching shirt and pants. I would say start with the WWII gear although I cant think of a shirt and pants that match off the top of my head.

 

A few of the Action Man "Dr.X" figures had a removable eye patch and the headsculpt is halfway between Bludd and Dr.Mindbender.

I was able, actually my wife was able to make an eye patch for the headsculpt. Looks pretty sharp.

 

What about the 21st Soviet Russian figure in Afghanistan? These came with a brown BDU.

 

Dragon German WWII officer figure with the German Shepherd dog Schnapps had an eye patch.

 

The new DiD Stauffenberg figure has an eyepatch-.

 

Ok, I'm not really having any success tracking down a brown uniform. Do you guys have any ideas as to what I can use for Major Bludd instead of a brown uni? Does anyone have any patterns for a jumper or bdu set? My next step is to try and paint the set using fabric paint. I'm running out of ideas!!

 

TUS had a Halo jumper box set with a brown jump suit. If interested, let me know. In the mean time, I'll look around to see if I have one. It's got 2 zippers running down the front, down the legs. The other option is to dye a set of solid color BDU's with RIT Dark brown, just add more water to get a lighter shade.

 

How about the TUS British commando set. There are dark brown pants and shirt that are gonna be the closest you'll find. The shirt is a little odd, but you will have body armor over it.
