If you're not really attached to it and don't think you'll regret it later, then my advice is to sell it and make a nice profit which you can use to buy something that you really want.

Sometimes friends need to ask each other for advice... we're all friends here, right?I never get the point of threads like this. It's just such a matter of personal taste, you might as well ask us if you should wear that blue sweater or that green sweater. It would be different if you were in some position like "My husband bought himself a HT Black Widow and I don't know anything about it, but now he's left me for that cheerleader, and they moved away to Mexico, should I sell the figure?"
But in your case, you clearly know all the basic stuff about the figure, and you actually bought it for yourself, not inherited it from someone or as part of a package deal -- so what's a group of other collectors (with probably very different personal tastes from you) gonna know about what you like? I'm giving this the benefit of the doubt (so I don't jump to any conclusion this was really "If anyone wants this, PM me"); but seriously, what could you expect us to meaningfully tell you?

MAM, I expect just your opionion, what you will do in this case, don't worry about what it is, I just wanna hear it. Even if you think it's a stupid question to ask.Sometimes friends need to ask each other for advice... we're all friends here, right?
Btw, that Dear Abby stuff is hilarious...
Alby, i agree with the others who stated to sell it and buy something else you really like.
I rarely open something I've bought right away, I've had figures sit for years before I finally get around to opening them up...it's just how I am.I have a HT Avengers Black Widow, So, this thread is not to sell her, if I do it I will do it in the right section, in the future.
But I want to ask an advice. What would you do with this particular release?
Thx![]()
I vote we strike a "Pat Yourself On The Back" medal to celebrate the occasion......:lolDAMN . . .
I think I had the briefest/shortest post/reply word per word compared to everyone else regarding the OP's question.
That's a first for me I think
Yes, that's an interesting suggestion. Never thought of swapping, it can be great if I see something valuable for me.Well then AlbytS, since it sounds like you're still generally into the hobby, don't have to sell her because you need the money etc etc, but you may be experiencing slight impulse-buyer's-remorse, I would say - you don't have to make any decision.
You could just put it out there in the OSW market threads that you'd be into swapping a mint-ish HT Black Widow for something comparable in whatever specific area really excites you. Then just see what offers you get. It will help you clarify your own feelings. The day you find yourself thinking "Wow, I'd much rather have this guy's HT Robocop than my HT Black Widow" (or whatever) you'll know where you stand and you can swap w/out EBay fees, taxes, etc. If time passes and you say "I'd much rather keep her than swap for any of this other stuff," again, you'll know where you stand.
Me, I wouldn't trade mine for gold. BTW you can see some of what I did with her in this thread that people seemed to enjoy ("Damnit, Fury, we agreed, no more missions like this!") and it might even encourage you to keep her.
