Star Trek 1:6 figures?
Who's in?
I'll try and spearhead this if possible. I don't know how the "negotiations" will turn out but, should a true petition be helpful, who would commit to buying the figures. I don't need to know "I'd buy a Kirk" or "I'll buy Uhura if she looks good" only that you would be intereted in committing to the series should they become possible.
Just for the ease of assembling such a list I would ask that you email me your "commitment" along with your name and address. Be sure to include your screen name and the forum from which you are responding. That way I can compile one list and keep it organized. By the same token, tell anyone else that you think may be interested to email me as well.
My email addy is:
[email protected]
Use the subject header: TREK COMMITMENT
This won't be easy and we'll need a lot of people, so, if you are truly interested in having these figures see the light of day it is imperative that you get on this list.
Let's cross out fingers and hope for the best.
Thanks!!
And, just for clarification, these are the ones we're shooting for:

Ironman, you know I'm in!

BTW, it might be useful to point out that the bodies and clothing were not the intended to represent the final look from what I understand.

With those gorgeous sculpts these figures would certainly be a hit!

Yes, the bodies are not the bodies that would be used for the final versions. The uniforms were done using a similar material as used on the actual show. It just doesn't seem to transfer into 1:6 as well as the Lost in Space unis did. All the figures in the group shot were done on the rush to meet presentation deadlines.

I would love to see some 6th scale Trek.. I bought a 12" Pike ages ago (although he is currently dressed in full SWAT gear)
I just re-worked some of his equipment last night as a matter of fact.

Hiya, Ironman1188!

I'm definately in... it'd give me a good reason to have to build a shuttlecraft. Or, to use a Scotty quote, "Have you lost your Vulcan mind?!" Not WHAT he says as much as HOW he says it. It really sounds like something else.

Hey Guys!!
You may have seen a photo of this figure before, but I think these pix really show how good the Trek figures can be. LMK what you think:

As to the best of my knowledge, negotiations with the powers that be are continuing and there may be something at the Feb 08 Toy Fair.
