recently sold a small 1:6 item (1:6 rifle model kit) to spidergk (GREG KERSCH) and today logged in to see a negative feedback saying 'Complete rubbish, went straight in the bin.' with no attempt by the buyer to contact me first to let me know he was unsatisfied or even an attempt to request a return/refund. this knocked my 100% positive score down to 99.2% which sounds fine but I know plenty of people who only buy from 99.5% and above sellers so likely to lose at least a few sales thanks to him (sold dozens of the same kit with only positive responses and I have clear pictures of it in the listing)

looking at his feedback history he has done it a lot as the following feedback left for others shows

=====================:

neutral: "
You get what you pay for. Serious about airbrushing? Then leave alone" (sounds fair but given his feedback for my item not sure)

neutral: "
£12 import charge for a £4 baseball , post office can keep it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (as if the seller is responsible for the customs charges)

negative: "
Delivery Time utter joke, Build quality utter joke. This thing will blow up "
reply from seller:
If you are not satisfied, please kindly contact seller first, thanks!

neutral: "
Parts missing, wanted photo evidence of part I dont have, couldn't be bothered" (tells you everything you need to know about the guy)
sellers reply: As customer service,Hofully you could email me first let me know the matter,then I can help you.Sorry

negative: "Paid for 24hr Delivery which they totally ignored after taking the cash. USELESS" (understandable if true but did he take into account dispatch time? and shouldn't it be neutral if item received?)

negative: "
5 Days after Payment told only just dispatched. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! V V SLOW CCC-" (again that is understandable, 5 days is a bit of long wait to dispatch but surely as long as item arrived fine it should be neutral or positive with low dispatch time score)

negative: "Plants DOA! Have spent hundreds, all other Plants dead within two weeks. POOR!!!" (seems valid but never know, could be his issue but guess give benefit of the doubt)

negative: "
AVOID AT ALL COSTS, VERY BAD EBAYER, ***BEWARE*** ZZZ- - -" (no idea if anything wrong with item or seller as no details given)

=============================

to be fair the other neutral/negatives i see seem perfectly valid but he has left quite a few and seems to have a habit of not contacting sellers to resolve issues and uses the worst feedback ratings for minor issues.

there are plenty positive feedback comments by him but I think he is best avoided given his trigger-happy habit and apparent inability to reach out to sellers to tell them if there is an issue.

The world is full of folks who're like this peckerwood.

I once had dinner with a guy who took great pride in the fact he never ate a meal out that he didn't send something back. Notice I wrote "I once had..." Never again. I was embarrassed to be around him.

Sorry it happened to you, but remembering "what goes around comes around" helps.

I hate the guy you speak of already.... my mother was the same but worse....
Yeah, I agree guys. I've had dinner with a couple people who browbeat the server by telling them " You haven't got your tip, YET. "
I always make sure I tip them generously , above anything the other person leaves, then never go with them again.

I've encountered these idiots before. Sadly there is nothing can be done, except maybe contact eBay and explain the situation. They can remove negatives if they believe they were unfair.

Bit different, but a few years back I built a life size master chief Cosplay suit out of fibreglass. Really awesome suit. I finished in time to sell for Halloween. It reached £1700 between two competing bidders. The guy who won it, didn't pay and didn't respond to messages. After a week of silence, I get a negative review saying "paid for item never arrived, total scam". He continued to ignore me. Checking his account I could see he did this to everyone. Same exact line 50 something times on different sellers. I had to wait ages to get the negative review removed and he was eventually banned. Sadly I missed the window to sell it for Halloween so now it rots in a box in my garage.

I did check him out with his email and address and found he was a genuine a hole. I then signed the guy up to several dating and "adult services" websites as a gay male escort. So I feel I won in the long run.

Might be worth trying to get eBay to expunge the review. I don't think he quite qualifies for harsh pranking though. Lol

Surely there have been Halloweens after the one you mentioned... As for the pranking, well, it is April 1. And in the case of your A-hole, what if he actually likes being on those "dating" and "adult" sites? :)
Hahaha. No, I'm thorough in my research before I prank somebody. He definitely wouldn't have been too happy getting bombarded with "business" from horny dudes. Lol

As for selling on another Halloween. Sadly the fanfare surrounding Halo had died down after that year and was never the same again. I tried multiple times to sell it but it never got bids higher than it's cost to make, so I gave up. I even tried contacting the losing bidder, but he found another one for sale in the states and went with that while I was getting messed around by the idiot.

When I have the space, I'll dug it out and display it on a manaquin.
