A young member of 46th New York Infantry Regiment (Fremont Rifles.) The Fremont Rifles was comprised mostly of German Immigrants and they saw service in many significant battles during the ACW including Antietam and Fredericksburg.
For this guy I used a lot of gear from Battle gear toys with a few items by DML. The Head is a Tony Barton sculpt, #77, wigged and painted by me. He definitely looks pretty Irish, but he had a passing resemblance to a red headed German family I grew up next to. He’s attached to a modified dml body. The Cap badges were also supplied to me by Tony Barton.
