I try to make an USMC with new desert kit. I got a figurine with Saturday-Toys desert marpat uniform + vest. I dont know how to do it.
I try a pastel with sand color in water but I desapointed.
try NOT using water. I use pastels, ground up to powder by using some sandpaper. Then I just apply the powder in places where I want it to go. If it's too much, use a stiff brush and brush and the excess off.
Hey Butch, you probably fix the pastel afterwards with dullcoat, but if you say.. frequently reposed or played with your figures, would the pastel flake off everywhere like crazy?
