Ever since the major overhaul of the forums, the glitchy search function has been really bothering me. If anyone has tried it since the upgrade, then you know it doesn't work very well and it's nearly impossible to find old threads anymore. While doing a Google search (that's what it's come to) to find an old thread here, I noticed a link at the bottom of one of my search results that said "More results from www.onesixthwarriors.com". When I clicked that, Google redid my search but added "site:www.onesixthwarriors.com" to my search text. I had never noticed that before but it's useful and should be beneficial when searching other sites as well. So, if you're looking for something here and can't find it then try your search using Google but add that text to your search terms. Alternatively, you can just click on this link and then replace "pkm" with whatever search terms you want to use: Google

You're welcome guys and I'm glad that you've found this tip helpful. Here's an update that I'm already finding extremely useful. It works with image searches too! As above, you can add "site:www.onesixthwarriors.com" to your search terms when doing a Google image search or just click here and replace "Foreign Legion" with whatever search terms you want to use: foreign legion site:www.onesixthwarriors.com" - Google Search

That is fantastic! I'm not a very gifted computer type, so this really helps since I have been trying to use the Search function with very mixed results. In fact, not so good results are outweighing the the good. I hate not finding stuff I know is in here somewhere...

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
