not all SOF guys are slim and young looking..alot of them you have to remember are late 30s/early 40s..at least some of the ones I know are and this HS is kinda spot on for that demographic.. say 5+yr SOF vet. I think it looks cartoonish but I'll get the set anyways for the new gear probably.

Huy,

Of course not everyone is young. But this sculpt is not young/old or even thin/chubby issue. It maybe not a bad sculpt, but something is off and it doesn't look anything like SEAL or any other active SOF member would look like to me. This is of course my opinion...

Vapor posted picture above and sculpt there is very good and "fitting" to the whole SEAL/SOF theme....

I agree Alexei, it looks off to me too...not enough realism in facial features...sorta reminds me of a chubby faced scarface..since on of the eyes in the pic Casey posted is droopy...although I do know a couple guys bald like that still in active SOF ;)

He has no neck! Thought it was an oversized SSC sculpt at first but that's a nice sculpt if its custom. Be kinda cool to add some "weight" to the body...head would probably fit the look better?

LOL...just figured it out. His belt is too high! It's like me when I pull my pants up high to hide my beer gut :rolling

I'm kind of inbetween.

I like the sculpt but I don't like the neck... I don't like Sculpts with those kind of necks where the Jawline is seperate from the neck... I end up getting collars stuck under their chins and it jsut doesn't look right.

Very realistic and normal looking mid-age guy. I think I saw this face- or the whole insipration for this figure- somewhere in the "don't be shy post your pic" thread. Hmmmmm....

How can you not like it, i mean even if you dont think its fits the SEAL Theme, there are dozens of uses for a head with character. Im not sure if its a fitting SEAL but he could pass of as CIA SSO/SAD easily for example, or a bad guy or a contractor as mentioned earlier? Sleeves cut off, BBI G3.5 arms, i think that would look pretty cool.

I like the HS. It has that realism of a mature operator.
Just cause he`s face may look chubby doesn`t mean the body is no lean mean killing machine.
Happens with age you know.

Not everyone has an army of surgeons, specialists offering botox & various surgeries to beat age back.
Some just go with the ride.

I'm sort of in the middle about the sculpt. I like the face actually, kind of reminds me of Stone Cold Steve Austin, but it also kind of reminds me of actor Tim Curry from the expression and features following it. :p
I think my only issue would be the chin protruding down over the neck, but that's nothing a little chinectomy and a bit of paint would fix. Actually, its kind of similar to a couple of HT heads I have around, they're a bit large so they have the same appearance.
