i used a old diobase add a photo background, scratchbuild some items like the ammo tubes and the M14 sight carrying case, the figures and gear is a mix of stuff from difrent manufactures, DML, BGT, NEWLINE, SOLDIER STORY, DID and BBI

A terrific crew, especially with the added goodies to properly clutter up the position. I would suspect the Hürtgen would be an extra dangerous place for mortars, it took some iron to be a light mortarman.

I'll have to show this to my wife-- her paternal grandfather was a Colonel in the Army during WW II and commanded a unit involved in the battle.

Great dio and set-up....although they (and their gear) appear to be the cleanest guys in the Hürtgen Forest!
