I whipped this Bub custom up within a week and a half. I felt inspired by all the zombie customs I've seen lately.

I'm in the minority, but this is my current favorite of the 4 Romero zombie movies. Don't get me wrong, I love them all...but Day has some of the best zombies ever put on film even to this day. Now Bub just needs a Rhodes to shoot.

That's a great figure.

Rhodes was such an ******* in that film, one of the most hatable villains in any film!

Yeah awesome job with that Rhodes! That guy was such a jerk in the movie, but he had one of my favorite lines ever:

"This ain't a g***amn fieldtrip people. This is a f***ing WAR!"

Time to go dig the movie out now...

I still like Dawn of the Dead the best but Day had the coolest zombie of them all. Nice work on the figure!! Day of the Dead is a close second to the remake of Night of the Living Dead with Tony Todd.

I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to reproduce the Bub head. All of my 'Dead' figures are bashes from Sideshow figures except for Rhodes. The figures were altered with Sculpey or Fimo.

Both Dr. Tongue and Airport/Plaid Shirt Zombie are made from Sideshow Art S. Buck figures:
