I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a 1/6 scale wheelchair out there? I was hoping to make a mini-me and am looking for either an electric or manual wheelchair as I use both. Any help will be much appreciated. :thumb

The Drastic Plastic FDR figure had a 1940s style wheelchair.There was also a wheelchair Barbie figure.Both go back several years,though.Good luck.

you can always custom make one if mass-produced wheel-chairs aren't right for what you need. I think an easy make would be to bend this copper or plastic tubing to shape and pry the wheels off of a DML bicycle.

There are always BARBIE wheel chairs on e-bay.

The Mattel wheelchairs were for Barbie's friend Becky, so that might help your eBay searches.

My buddy had one of the Barbie chairs in one of his boxes of plastic fodder. I can check with him to see if he still has it.

Thank you all very much for your help. I would have never guessed in a million years that I would find my answer in Barbies. That's exactly what I was looking for, I just need to hack off the armrests and push handles, paint the upholstery black and the frame candy apple blue and that's pretty close to my 1:1 wheelchair.

Yes, das_soldat I considered hacking up my DID BMX bike, but it is such a beautiful work of art. Will post pix of it, err me when I'm done. Mini-me that is. Thanks again.
