1/6 Scale Swivel Mount for the Military ATV, Hummer & other Vehicles
elfbait made these swivel mount can accommodate the M240s and the 5.56 SAWs. DML, but other brands can be mounted with perhaps a few modifications as well as the SAW (shown here is the Soldier Story weapon). It is fully articulated, with realistic pins holding it together. You can actually convert it from a double swing mount into a single swing mount, if you choose. There will also be at least 2 mounting brackets so you can put it in vehicles like Humvees, Polaris ATV or other vehicles. This kit contains a double swing arm machine gun mount, complete with mounting lugs, locking pins, etc. The whole system can be easily assembled and is fully articulated and painted. The ammo tray can accommodate 7.62mm ammo trays and 5.56mm 200rd boxes. The gun mount, especially in the double swing mount config, is pretty well articulated, and can put the MG in any point in space (within its range). The gun cradle allows for swivel and elevation. Polyurethane resin is quite durable, with a slight elastic give.

Now for the price...I am sorry to say that it is $30 EACH! $6 shipping. For more, we can strike a deal. This does not include any of the MG, I am afraid your going to have to buy this yourself. You can contact me.

OOoh these are beauties. I'm down for one green and one tan.
May I ask how durable they are? I figure they'll get re-posed often and manhandled into our figure's limited range.
While I'd prefer the images to be displayed I am happy to find out about Elfbait's miniatures fb page. :thumb

Yes, they are durable. Just as long as you use them in the way they were meant. Any vertical motion is great! Horizontal motion is a no-no.:lol

The gun mount, especially in the double swing mount config, is pretty well articulated, and can put the MG in any point in space (within its range). The gun cradle allows for swivel and elevation, so I don't see any problems posing it with any fig. I would suggest that you pose the figure first, then position the gun through the mount. Polyurethane resin is quite durable, with a slight elastic give. It can take some punishment, although some loving care is always appreciated. ;p

Saiko: Ah, so you saw the Battlemechs in the Snot and Anvil as well!

Awesome, thanks for the answers Dave and Elfbait! Please pardon my asking, it's more about my monkey paws than the integrity of your work :lol
I'm so jazzed for these. I should really finish up my vehicles but the only cool/finished part will be your mounts! :p

Elfbait: Yes! Though MW isn't my thing I like the Atlas one the most since he has a particular character and silhouette/proportion about him--though I like the impact absorbing legs on another.

I received mine from Dave and Kim and these things are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bravo
The T&E and articulation are wonderful and the detail is absolutely superb. It all moves very fluidly and the retaining pins for the weapons appear to work really well, of which there appear to be a couple of spares in case I lose them @[email protected]

Also thank you for the instruction sheet and further examples, Dave. It looks like we have mounting hardware for flat and vertical surfaces as well as the ability to clamp mount it to something like the rack on your ATV.

Ugh I need to work on my vehicle project next year so I have something as cool and as sturdy as these to mount them onto. Great job Elfbait!!! :thumb
