I'm genuinely shocked, a 1:6 horse that actually looks like a horse!
The use will be kind of limited though, as contrary to popular opinion, knights didn't ride into battle on draught horses. He's gorgeous though, even if he is the wrong colour for a Shire! :p (They don't carry the cream gene which produces palomino ;))

Edit: I just looked at the website and they do other colours too - the bay in particular looks spectacular!

Agreed. Both sentences. But on the other hand there is indeed a remarkable difference in pricing (it is more a factor than a difference... ~4?) between Nohuanda horses and the Shire of Mr. Z...

Yeah, I think the real story here isn't that someone made "another 1/6 horse," but specifically that someone made quite a good looking Shire. I'm not sure if we've had this large a 1/6 horse before (except maybe regular horses that got the scale slightly wrong). My first gut reaction looking at this is that it seems too big, compared to horses I've seen and compared to 1/6 horses I have, then my brain reminds me that the Shire can be one huge beast.

I'd be interested to hear Tony's view on these.

I once had the privelege of being shown around the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment's stables in Knightsbridge, and went in the stall with one of the drum horses. From memory that was about 18.3.

I used to ride an 18.2 hh in Hyde Park. When I rode around Hyde Park Corner (an experience in itself if you know London) to get there I could almost look in the top deck windows of double deckers!

Well , full marks for originality, if not perhaps for wide appeal ! As has been said , those of us looking for an " ordinary " cavalry horse, won't find much use for this, alas, because it's too big, and the pose is a little flamboyant. The sculpting is also perhaps a little too heavy, overdone even , to convert into a large troop horse : it would be quicker to start again with a Sindy or Thunderbolt.
It's very much in the style of the Breyer 1/9th toy horses, which are exquisite models appealing to the young ( and not so young ) female market.
I wish it well, but it won't be finding a stall in my stable, sadly.
The price is shown on the website.

I posted him on some of my model horse forums and I think a few folk have already put in an order so even if it's not much use for you lot, there's certainly a market for him elsewhere! He's relatively cheap for a resin in the model horse hobby, especially considering his size!

I'm curious: is he solid cast? Or hollow? I have to admit if he's hollow cast I'd snatch him up for a resin at that price! (Model horse shower here.)
My friend sent an inquiry through eBay if they were hollow, but I don't think they speak English because they didn't answer the question. They just said it was made of resin.
I haven't been able to find out if the smaller things like dogs and such are hollow, but at the same time I can see why something smaller wouldn't have to be.
Still. I'd love to paint one of these guys.
