Thanks for showing. Great ! there is that little blue round file, i put all the paperwork in the boss give to me:lol
Looks like a custom made diorama made just for the photo. If those chairs are what I think they are, they're the 1/6 "Eames Aluminum Chair" by Vitra Design Museum that go for upwards of $700 each at retail.

Seriously? While the detail of the chairs looks good, I, myself anyway, CANNOT see a $700 price tag...Damn, guess this is an expensive hobby
I love it! Now you can dread going to work Monday morning AND coming home to work on your 1:6 diorama ! Lol.
The last thing I'd want in my house would be a cubicle, reproduction or not! :lol

The Eames stuff you can find on ebay from time to time for more reasonable prices, if you know what you are looking for.

I've gotten good deals for a couple of them that way. I haven't had luck though with the Eames Aluminum Chair, which I need for a dio.
oh wow that is fantastic
the possibilities
punisher, zombies, civilians
would really like that set up

As an office worker, I can say I find the lack of wheels on those chairs disturbing! :)
I am certain that some .0125 veneer and a laser cutter can make the cubicles for much less than $700.

I just had to work with the folks in the office, and occasionally had a desk, and I absolutely agree.

You and me both. I'd be happy if I could just find the phones pictured!
PC tower with single monitor? Is it the 1800s??? :dunno

To be fair, the furniture reproductions you see selling at $700+ per item are not a sign this is an expensive hobby because those aren't made or marketed for the hobby. Rather they are meant to be art/museum pieces of design classics. People are paying sums that they'd pay for an art lithograph etc. They don't make them for our dioramas or the comfort of our man-dollies, and they might not be too sympathetic to that. You do occasionally see them used in "dioramas" like maybe in a Condominium project showroom or something like that where money is no object.
In my experience, the set would have to be "weathered" with piles of paper, folders, pens and pencils, coffee cups (and stains), storage boxes of files, and the like.

Well that explanation makes sense...of course I bought my whole livingroom set for about $700 (1:1 scale) so it kinda shocked me that someone would pay that for a single 1/6 scale chair...but then again, years ago, I paid $2000 for a real Les Paul and people around me couldn't understand that either...It's all about what ya like and what your willing to spend...Either way, that cubicle does look cool...

Still got it? What year? PM me a photo. I'd love to see it.
totally off topic but I'd love to see that Les Paul too! Got myself an american LP BFG a few years ago, the price already sounded crazy for most of my friends...

About the furniture miniatures, as pointed by Moonbase Alpha Male, these are official copies from "classics" 20th century designs edited by Vitra.
Most of designers chairs from Eames to Pantone or Mies van der rohe are available as miniatures as long as Vitra edited the original design. You can find them on the web but they mainly come from the Vitra design museum in Basel (Switzerland)
