I recently got a 1/6 warrior. My next adventure is to draft patterns to make a few pieces of clothing. I learned about this YouTube. Lomi's Playground. Check it out. Directions on drafting also patterns you can adapt. There are a couple of videos that show you how to do so.
Capes on eBay are expensive for what is generally a napkin worth of cloth. Do any basic cutting patterns exist that I could just snip one out of a piece of fabric and maybe stitch a chain and magnet to?
I've been out of the hobby for a while. So I'm wonder if the Japanese 1/6th gurus have since published a Specfigures 5 and so on books? I have 3& 4 and love them especially for the free patterns.
Does anyone have any pointers to actual 1/6th patterns as opposed to Barbie /fashion doll for clothing? The sort of thing I'm looking for are cloak patterns with hoods and medieval/fantasy style clothing what I'd actually like to do when I'm able (moving house eventually) is make a layered...
Well... after three years and a crap-load of trial and error (about 20 different patterns and three different types of material for the red swimsuit section, and 5 different patterns and 3 different materials for the collar), I finally finished this pain-in-the-ass project.
