With the holidays, I have less time to get reviews out. But I just recieved - finally! - my Erik Killmonger from the Hot Toys Black Panther series, and I had to share my pleasure. He's another great figure in this line, and with the second movie on the horizon (very distant horizon), I'm hoping...
Let's check out the latest Hot Toys release tonight, or at least the latest one to hit my porch! It's the lovely Shuri from Black Panther, a fantastic addition to the display:

I was trying to figure out how I could combine model building in smaller scales with 1/6th scale figures I have collected. This is what I came up with...ain't perfect but I haven't seen anyone else do this before. The model is an old Hawk model of a U-2C Dragon Lady, and the pilot is of coarse...
We had a great time this past weekend at the show! Tons of great displays put on by the club and a great selection of vendors with all of your 1:6th scale needs!
The club especially appreciates the following board members taking the time to get up from behind their computer desks and actually...
I've just purchased a loose fallschirmjager parachute and I wanted to display a fallschirmjager jumping, I know bbi made a fuselage piece which I can't find on the internet so the next best thing is displaying him open chute but I have no idea how to do it, any help would be great...
I have still very new to the hobby and I have read many posts around the web where people say they keep that figures packed away, I want to have mine out one display if I am going to be investing money in them I cant see keeping them in box's in a closet. I was wondering what stands/display...
Belated posting here of photos from some the recent local events that invited the AZ Joeheads to put on a display of vehicles and figures. We did our annual display at the AHMTA (AZ Historical Military Transport Association) vehicle show at the Falcon Field Air Museum in Mesa in March. We also...
My previous 1:6 female assistant is now back in the display case.
This 1:6 female figure wanted some time away from the display case so she is now my new "old" assistant.
She believes she is well racked . . . ER . . . stacked . . . in terms of her qualifications.
I found this guy last week MIB for about $40 from a local shop that was doing a crazy sale. With some updates I think turned out great and fits in nicely on my display. I was also able to get SS Commander Praji for $60 and Commander Cody for $185. I really scored that day.

So yesterday was the annual OMSS show, held in Toronto Ont, Canada. overall it felt like there was more venders, more participants and well more people coming though. The new location was a blessing, allowing for easy access to the gym area where the show was held.
Once again, Geoff, Val and...

Having made a smallish generic SF display base for figures, I decided to try a bigger one.
Like the previous one it has PVC board walls, textured plasticard floor and has the walls 'detailed' with plastic bits n bobs.
The photos below show it in it's current state, having just had the base...
I got a bit worried when my HT Iron Man House Protocol display started to turn into a very expensive game of Jenga! Decided that those round display flight bases were just taking up way too much room but I still wanted an aerial display like the movie rather than a static Hall Of Armour...
Hello, if you have all been wondering where I have been, well between getting ready for the big Toronto, Ontario, Canada show, a couple of commission vehicle builds and this...I have been very busy...
So to make a long story longer...I was invited to put together a small display for my local...
