a true showpiece, exquisite detailing, that's some of your best work right there, man
What can I say? Stunningly perfect.
A great looking team. Which brand are the peadot uniforms?
Top notch work!
If I may I would have chosen some much younger looking faces for the HJ...
Excellent diorama of two HJ machine gunners. Well posed with an excellent base!!!
Terrific pair of believable figures. Very nice display too.
I know that there were a few old guys, the very oldest was their 34 yo commander...
I have a problem with those hard bearded faces: they look well beyond their 20ties while HJ roster in '44 was mostly composed of teenagers from 14 to 18 years old. Later on they even included in the HJ kids from 10 to 14.
As they are depicted here to me they can belong to any other waffen SS unit: at least one of them should have a clean face that has not yet known any shaving blade. My 2c anyway.
I don't anything about this young group. I'll have to look them up. These guys look good. I'm trying to complete an mg34 and mg42 team right now. I'll use these guys as inspiration.
Wow, these are FANTASTIC in every way. I really like the faces, haven’t seen those anywhere. Did you repaint them?
Excellent on the entire display.
I like what I do and I do what I like!
Ignore the nit-pickers. These are amazing beautifully-detailed figures in every way! So incredibly life-like, they give off a war-weary, resigned feel that make me empathize with what these young men on both sides had to go through. As for not looking 20-something, I think that war ages people pretty fast.

Very nice indeed. Enjoyed looking at your great photos.
Wow, you did an amazing job. The whole set is outstanding!!! The figures are so lifelike, really really impressive!!
War absolutely ages people in different ways. I can tell you that for sure.
Beautiful work as always! So natural, so lifelike. Using the actual fabric to its advantage and not overly managing the cloth pieces that then look unnatural. Your works always have the perfect balance...
Fantastic work Francky!!!
Nice work on this MG team!
I like that you took it your own way and didn't replicate the well known 12th SS squad photos we all know and love.
Superb job! Especially on the seamless joints on the figures!
I am very happy I didn't miss this, sorry I am late to the party! Wonderful work on this MG team, beautifully crafted!........Jim
