Cool looking figure, but confusing. Is this guy CIA SAD?

Inspired by the movie 13: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

Here's a great article detailing GRS mission set with in the CIA and some incidents involving their agents.

The head sculpt looks like Sharlto Copley when he played Kruger in Elysium.

Also, does anyone have any intel on what the operators actually carried that night of the attack?

Here are the weapons the movie used but how accurate was it?

They had a Mk46, M320s, and either M4s or 416s depending on whether you trust Jack Murphy or the 13 Hours book.

It is a really cool figure... I wish there were more pics of it against a lighter background.

Definite buy for me, extremely cool. Really like the HS.

I have to admit, when I saw the tread title I was hoping for a GRS in tigerstripe! Guess I will have to bite the bullet and bash one, though I image it would already be outdated.

The word "Globe", does this mean that Global Response Staff is copyrighted?

I am only guessing, that this represents a bit more current individual than four years ago. It seems like the rig, clothing, and weapons are much newer.

    Still, a good looking figure.

Interesting! Kinda odd loadout IMHO... but some nice pieces, namely that S&S plate carrier - would be getting that if I hadn't already made one... also I think the fact that he's called the Asset and he has a black SCAR MK16 rifle indicate he's at least partially inspired by Vincent Cassel's character in "Jason Bourne".

Re: Easy&Simple 26010 Agency Globe Response Staff

The weapons loadout kinda doesn't make sense... Short barreled SCAR with a folding stock set up with magnified optics for night time use. And a longer barreled AR15 set up with a short range optic. I think keeping the SCAR with the AR accessories, and swapping out the AR for something bigger, like a 7.62 precision rifle or a belt fed, would make more sense. But it's still a cool set, and it's going to look nice along side my PMC assaulter.

E&S sure love those stocks..they are Vltor? I honestly haven't seen many pics of them in use myself so not sure why they end up on about 50% of the weapons for E&S. I echo the other guys, the weapons choices could be more unique. This figure can be kitbashed aside from the plate carrier IMO. I love all of the military E&S releases but some like this seem not that unique to me.

Re: Easy&Simple 26010 Agency Globe Response Staff

Nice release, some exciting new stuff, but I cannot pinpoint a certain look or era for it. Seems to be inspired by a lot of different things.

Certainly not the way those GRS guys were equipped in Benghazi.

The plate carrier is not an S&S (that one is coming with the DAM Ghost 2 release). It is a laser cut laminate plate carrier, I believe it is the AR500 Armor "Sentry" and i believe its the first one to be seen in 1/6 scale.

The M4 long rail looks like its modeled on the Geissele SMR rails, although I just cannot pinpoint the exact model.

    The stock is Vltor indeed

I totally agree that the two 5.56 weapons don't make much sense, but as a fellow OSWer said to me "Its cool". Well, whatever

    Loose parts buy for me...

Nice to see they finally made a holster for that HK 45.

Not sure how I feel about this figure. The mk16 makes noise sense, except that it'll arbitrarily raise the price.

Definitely some nice pieces here, just not sure how I feel about the overall character.

I really like the hand stop, for some reason.

I believe the Rail is a old generation SMR rail for 14.5'' M4/AR15, not the current one listed on official website

E&S did a pretty good job on the SMR for HK10.5 on the SMU Tier1 release, so I'm looking forward to this one !

Yes it is definitely an older model SMR, I just cannot pinpoint which one it is

Well, I'm not sure I'll get one as for the rifles it may be just a matter of swapping all of their external accessories, i'n'it?

E&S has a pretty quick turnaround time from announcement to release. What gives?

    I'm not complaining, just curious.

I can only guess they make their announcements later in the production timeline than other brands.
