Great work, David ! It combines everything I too find fun about the hobby : historical research, kitbashing, custom parts (and the letter, brilliant), weathering, photography, &c.

Awesome pictures, and I love how they capture this small moment. And crazy attention to detail. Incredible work.

I'd like to say a big thank you to Greg and DeltaForceChung for nominating this dio for the November KOTM, and thank you to everyone who voted for it.

It came in third, a position I'm very proud of as every other entry was, without exception, excellent.

Great to see this Actionman, I missed it first time around and being DAK it is right up my street. Love the detailing and photography, very nice indeed.

Oh man... that is indeed sad to hear. Such a creative human being.... :-(

I am really impressed by his work on this diorama and this thread had passed under my radar.

Did anyone of you ever met him in person? Did you ever find out at what age he died, or what kind of cancer he suffered from?
    This is very sad......
    Thanks,
    m.

I met him once in Hong Kong in 2001 for a few drinks and he directed me to some local 1/6 shops in Hong Kong and Macau.

You can find details regarding his illness in his own post: I've Got Stage 4 Cancer - Need to Sell My Collection

Sad reading. Wiped out of existence in a matter of weeks. One day posting your work on here, the next... nothingness.

Does anybody know how old he was by the time of his death? I also wonder how his cancer got so advanced without him noticing anything at all... :-(
