    Soldier Story M4

Of the M4's from Soldier Story:
Is the CIA camo M4 the only one with a working bolt?
    OR
Does the black version also have a working bolt?

    Thanks

It's the best M4 out there, and yes, they're both the same. It's a no-brainer. Get one if you are thinking about it.

quick question, does the gas tube go all the length of the barrell? mine starts at the front sight end and finished halfway along the exposed barrell ...dont have much time to return it, but its possible (my last day here in singapore)

I think it's halfway too, I'm too lazy to go check mine. Kinda fragile piece too, so I try not to mess with it once I got it the way I wanted it. The new one I got was like that, so I'd assume they're all like that too.

The only real difference in Soldier Story M4s is that the EOD M4 has a slightly smaller diameter buffer tube(with sling loops) compared to the CIA M4 - hence no spring action on the bolt and the modstock won't fit on the CIA M4.

tdar - the gas tube on two EOD M4s I have are the same as yours and the CIA M4 doesn't have a gas tube at all. IMO it doesn't matter since you will never see it under the handguard anyway.
